**Administrative Assistant needed for hardware store in Parktown North**

Duties for this position include - but is not limited to:

- Basic bookkeeping
- Capturing expense invoices
- Managing petty cash
- Supervising cashiers
- Assist with payroll preparation
- Managing stationery
- Capturing purchase orders
- Assist with stock takes
- Assist with creditors reconciliations
- Assist stock management department
- Filing
- General assistant to directors
- General assistance required in retail store

Working hours are Monday-Friday 07:30 - 17:30

Some overtime may be required from time to time, depending on the store's needs.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in English (be able to correspond with customers, suppliers and staff professionally)
- Punctuality, accuracy and attention to detail
- Fast learner
- Be able to perform under pressure
- Be able to work without supervision
- Valid driver's license and own transport
- Computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook and the Internet
- Experience in Bookkeeping or Accounting
- Experience as a Supervisor
- Experience in Petty Cash management
- Experience as a Creditors, Purchasing or Receiving Clerk
- Experience in the Hardware Industry
- Experience in working with Office 365, Teams, IQ Retail

**Salary**: R4,500.00 - R9,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

License/Certification:

- drivers license (preferred)
