We’re looking for a top-notch **National Transport Manager **to provide outstanding leadership, focusing on customer requirements, effective operational performance, a motivated workforce and "making DHL a great place to work". Taking responsibility for overall smooth operations in accordance with KPI's & customer expectations. Overseeing the Line Haul and Managing the day to day of the Transport, this role is critical for the stability of the Transport, this role is key to enable sustainable growth for the Transport Business.

In this **National Transport Manager** role:

- You will initiate a strategic plan for the development of customer accounts.
- You will act in both strategic and tactical capacities providing operational support.
- You will work closely with business leaders to evolve and embed the people element of the business strategy.
- You will drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to meet contractual terms and DHL expectations.
- You will be accountable for Fleet productivity and Sub
- contractor Management
- You will ensure and manage Resource availability (Fleet and Drivers) to meet customers’ demands
- You will manage excellent continuous customer relationships.
- You will drive and maintain an overall smooth operation.
- You will manage and achieve budget revenue and profits.
- You will be involved in Project Management.
- You will manage the SLA development, carrier / supplier contracting and onboarding support
- You will provide formal and informal coaching to associates at all levels of our business in an impactful, collaborative, and consultative manner.
- You will manage the people impact of organizational change projects aligned to the business.
- Your voice will be heard loud and clear in management circles.
- You will lead with Head, Heart, and Guts

Now, here’s what we need from you:

- Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain /or Other related fields
- 10 Years Experience
- Logistics Industry Experience
- Ability to adapt easily to different cultural and language barriers.
- Knowledge of Finance/Profit & Loss Management
- Experience in Project Management
- Must be mobile and able to travel between sites.
- Able to lead with Head, Heart, and Guts
- Excellent understanding of supply chain
