Global Construction and Infrastructure is hiring a **Product Application Consultant **with focus on Medium Wheel Loader products in the Africa and Middle East regions.**

This is a field-based role for an experienced and passionate individual contributor who enjoys working collaboratively and who can handle assignments that are complex, challenging and lend themselves to strategic decisions and recommendations.

**What you will do**:

- Conduct product performance studies, assess customer job sites efficiency, collecting product and customer requirements in order to create input for product improvements and new product development programs.
- Manage the marketing of technology tools/systems and work with key stakeholders to develop a product roadmap to drive business growth.

**Skills you will have**:

- **Technical Excellence - Extensive level of experience**: Provides effective solutions to technical challenges through strong technical competence, effectively examining implications.
- **Products and Services - Working knowledge**: Explains key features, benefits and advantages of current and new products.
- **Customer focus - Extensive experience**:Supports creation of products and services to resolve customer business issues. Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, on-going feedback/improvement and open communication with the ability to constructively engage diverse audience.

**Degree and experience requirements**:

- Completed Degree in engineering, or similar field of study.
- 8 years of progressive industry experience, with a good technical understanding of capital equipment (Earthmoving Industry)
- Fluency in English is critical, and French is a plus.
- Previous roles covering the Middle East and Africa
- Commercial and/or project management
- Previous experience working in an international environment.

**Additional information**:

- Dubai, Johannesburg, and Abidjan are the preferred locations.
- The role requires the ability to travel 50% mostly within Africa and Middle East region.
