Incentives & Groups Consultant

Grosvenor Tours, a leader in the Incentive & Leisure Travel industry, is currently seeking an Incentive Travel & Groups Consultant to join their dynamic team.
Our focus destinations are Southern & East Africa. As an Incentive Travel & Groups Consultant, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating incentive travel programs for corporate clients. You will be the point of contact for clients, ensuring that all travel arrangements are seamless and tailored to meet their needs and expectations.
The overall purpose of the Incentive & Groups Consultant is to:
- Propose and develop incentive group costings;
- Ensuring effective negotiation with appropriate suppliers.
- Compiling and delivering top quality incentive proposals of product and price that meet customer expectations with the aim to achieve profit.
- Operating and on-the-ground management of incentive groups.
- Costing and recommending incentive proposals.
- Consulting with the client with up-to-date information.
- Creative writing within proposals to make the proposal descriptive and convincing.
- A Mastered understanding of using excel to build itemised costing.
- Knowledge of how to use PowerPoint for possible presentation when required.
- Securing of Accommodation and Support services to support the output expectation of the program.
- To travel with the client in pre-inspection of the agreed program.
- Project leading and on-the-ground management of incentive groups that you are responsible for.
- Paying attention to detail, following processes and checking/quality control proposals, and booking details.
**Requirements**:
- Must have a minimum of 8 years relevant experience as a Travel Consultant in the Travel & Tourism sector
- Grade 12 (essential)
- Related Tertiary Qualification in Travel & Tourism highly beneficial
- Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and advanced knowledge of Excel is essential
- Educational travel and travel with groups may be required
- Sound understanding of High Touch Travel is compulsory
- Strong product and services knowledge
- Strong destination and logístical knowledge on Southern and Eastern Africa
- High level of written and verbal communication skills with customers, suppliers, and guides
- Strong relationships with customers, suppliers and guides
- Clear understanding of customer’s expectations and requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proactive
- Excellent time management and quick turnaround time
- Multi-tasking
- Focus on quality control, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Sound financial understanding of group reconciliation
- Strong team player but can work independently with little supervision/guidance required
