Opportunity to join a large national blue chip fmcg manufacturer based at their prime offices based in Durban. This is a Head Office role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding: - Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent - Coordinate the full cycle of recruitment processes, including job advertisements, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, and job offers - Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires by ensuring necessary paperwork is completed accurately

2. Employee Relations: - Serve as a point of contact for all employee-related queries - Promote positive employee relations by providing guidance and counseling on various HR matters such as performance issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions - Conduct investigations into employee complaints or issues in a fair and confidential manner

3. Training and Development: - Identify training needs in collaboration with department managers and implement appropriate training programs - Organize workshops or seminars to enhance employee skills and promote professional growth opportunities - Monitor training effectiveness through feedback mechanisms and make necessary improvements

4. HR Policies and Compliance: - Develop, update, and communicate company policies in compliance with applicable employment laws - Ensure proper implementation of HR policies and procedures across all departments - Stay up-to-date with changes in labor legislation to ensure legal compliance in all HR activities

5. Performance Management: - Coordinate annual performance review processes by ensuring timely completion of performance appraisals - Assist managers in setting performance objectives and providing guidance on performance improvement plans when needed

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field - Proven work experience as an HR Officer or similar role in a manufacturing environment (4 years)
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
- Proficiency in advanced Excel
