Portfolio Manager is required in the Boland Area to manage major project portfolios, to maximize the benefit obtained in accomplishing combined enterprise outcomes and to take responsibility for supporting the organizational leadership in their efforts to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives by effectively managing a portfolio. You will have 10 years project delivery experience within an IT/Financial environment; 5 years management experience in major project/programme initiatives; 2-4 years of Project Portfolio Management experience; including forecasting, prioritisation, and tracking.

**Responsibilities**:

- To manage a portfolio to maximize the benefit obtained in accomplishing combined enterprise outcomes
- Responsibility for supporting the organizational leadership in their efforts to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives by effectively managing a portfolio.
- Management of all major project/programme initiatives
- Demand planning, resource levelling and team coordination activities for the development of an executable portfolio
- Forecasting, monitoring/tracking of portfolio activities and analysis of portfolio performance
- Leading end-to-end RFx processes
- Leading and supervising a team within portfolios
- Liaising with executive-level stakeholders on a frequent basis
- Relating and Networking
- Presenting and Communicating Information
- Writing and Reporting

**Requirements**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management or Communication
- A relevant degree in Business Management or Change Management advantageous
- Minimum 10 years Project delivery experience within an IT/Financial environment
- Basic understanding of the retail and business banking industry.
- Minimum 5 years management experience in major project/programme initiatives
- Project Portfolio Management experience (forecasting, prioritisation, and tracking)
- Experience in project management methodologies - Agile essential
- Substantial consulting leadership experience.
- Experience in planning software (e.g., Atlassian suite).
- Experience in leading end-to-end RFx processes
- Comfortable in liaising with executive-level stakeholders on a frequent basis.
- Decision-making and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to perform in depth demand planning, resource levelling and team coordination activities for the development of an executable portfolio
- Experience in the using of reporting tools for forecasting, monitoring/tracking of portfolio activities and analysis of portfolio performance
