**Position Summary**
Responsible for the execution of the Brand strategy in line with the company strategic objectives. In collaboration with the Brand Manager, ensure a balanced product range and assortment of merchandise that is correctly priced, in line with the market needs. Lead the range management, pricing, assortment planning and drive the go-to-market related tasks for the category within the Brand.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
? Support the Brand Manager in delivering the brand strategy so as to achieve a financial performance in line with Brand positioning and agreed objectives.
? To ensure the achievement of the Financial Performance of the Brand as agreed and budgeted.
? Responsible for leading the buying process, for the category, including range architecture, procurement of seasonal product ranges and for stock level management.
? To initiate/manage/implement/support the creation and execution of a strategic long-range planning process for the category.
? Execute quality go-to-market plans and support sell-ins.
? Oversee the management of functional relationships between the company and its Suppliers as well as internal/external stakeholders to ensure the achievement of operational deliverables.
? Coordinate planning and budgeting including post seasonal analysis, market feedback, trend analysis and retail shopping lists for the category.
? Collaborate with Merchandise Planning to agree sales plan, profitability targets and pricing architecture for the category.
? Ensure the category range satisfies both the wholesale and retail strategies and provide input to both these channels.
? Collaborate with Retail Operations to co-ordinate seasonal retail and wholesale VM strategy in line with Brand standards.
? Create presentations for monthly and quarterly Business Reviews and regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team.
? To facilitate and support continuous business process improvement that will drive operational excellence and manage risk.
? To regularly and consistently perform deep dive analysis to understand drivers of the category; in order to provide in-depth market and competitive insight to help inform and drive the category growth.
? Analyze range performance, within the category, and sell-through data across all channel.
? Work with the Marketing team in aligning strategies with marketing calendars.

**Education Requirements**
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration.
- Desirable: Honour's/Masters degree.

**Experience Requirements**
- Essential: A Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in footwear buying and category management.
- Desirable: Previous experience with International major brand Licensors.
