Role Overview:
To be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of customers and key accounts in South Africa based from our facility in Vanderbijlpark.

Within this role, you will mainly be responsible for selling our plastic products and services to existing customers and prospective clients. This includes maintaining existing business and pursuing new business opportunities.

Typical Accountabilities:

- Communicating with existing customers and managing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing our market.
- Defining and implementing customer action plans for both existing accounts and with a view to developing opportunities with new customers.
- Coordinating and ensuring resolution of customer complaints in conjunction with the Quality and Operations personnel.
- Tracking performance by customer, key account and product, reporting information accurately and timeously.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to demonstrate experience within a manufacturing sales environment, preferably in plastics and/or steel.
- A proven demonstrable track record in successful sales / key account management.
- Degree / Diploma in a related area (sales/marketing or an industrial/engineering study)
- Experience of international sales and multi-cultural environments
- Must be able to demonstrate (heavy) industrial market experience
- Should have experience of working autonomously and working across a matrix organization.

Knowledge and Skills
- Possesses solid sales experience
- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills.
- Possesses excellent time management and planning skills.
- Ability to perform cold customer calls and follow up on leads.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and any other relevant software.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Travel may be required.
