We are on the hunt for a well-presented, experienced Hotel Manager for this exciting opportunity.

We are looking for an experienced Co-Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of hotel situated in Cape Town City Centre.

It is important for the Hotel Manager to be involved in all aspects of the hotel operations. You will be a key person of reference for employees and clients as well as external vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, maids, office employees etc.) and set clear objectives.
- Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model. **Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.) ** Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations etc. **Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc. ** Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards. **Manage smooth running of breakfast. ** Manage check in and out on clock. **Ordering supplies and stock. Job requirements**: Grade 12 (Matric) and Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management. **Proven experience as Hotel Manager, minimum 5 years. ** Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages in added advantage. **Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines ** Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software is an advantage. **Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. ** Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail. Skills**:Being able to motivate, encourage and educate. ** Excellent customer service skills **Excellent communication skills and listener ** Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving. **Strive to improve towards excellence. Salary: R18,000.00 per month, accommodation can be negotiated. Ability to commute/relocate**: Cape Town, Western Cape *Minimum of three references required.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R18,000.00 per month
