What the person must be able to do:
This role is in the Solar Distribution sector. All duties would take place in this context.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and guidance for solar energy products and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments, ensuring the company remains competitive.
- Lead a team of professionals and collaborate with colleagues across the country to provide comprehensive support for solar energy projects.
- Participate in research and development (R&D) for product selection, identifying and evaluating new technologies and products.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency, performance, and affordability of solar energy systems.

Key Job Deliverables:

- Accurate and comprehensive technical proposals, project estimates, and quotations for clients.
- Ongoing analysis of market trends and identification of new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Continuous improvement of the company's solar energy product offerings and solutions through R&D and innovation.

Qualifications & Background work experience:

- Electrical or Electrical Engineering Qualification
- Successfully designed and implemented medium to large-scale solar energy installations.
- Provided technical pre-sales support for a solar energy company, resulting in increased sales and customer satisfaction.
- Identified and evaluated new solar energy technologies for inclusion in a company's product offerings.
- Led a team of professionals to complete solar energy projects on time and within budget.
- Advantageous: Consulting engineering experience
