**_ Position Purpose:_**
To lead and drive the Business enablement strategies of the SSC, by understanding the current state of business as well as
future opportunities for Optimization and Growth.
To deliver world class Finance, HR and Procurement services enabled by technology.
**_ Position outputs:_**
- Actively participate in and assist with the development and review of the Business Enablement strategy.
- Break the complexity of Business Enablement into practical, scalable and repeatable practices that lead to increased
effectiveness or efficiency.
- Perform Enterprise analysis to ‘Bridge the gap’ between the Software solutions and business stakeholders to achieve
common understanding and to manage expectations.
- Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key
stakeholders:
- Collaborate with peers and senior leadership by articulating ideas and viewpoints, identifying, and initiating projects,
managing resources, driving the resolution of issues and holding self and others accountable for results.
- Collaborate closely with Developers to implement requirements and give guidance during testing.
- Partner with internal and external customers to develop process improvements, re-engineer and recommend elimination,
integrate new systems and processes with existing ones.
- Provide tools that automate business processes, automate workflows and integrate in a seamless user-friendly way.
- Collaborate with the AI and BI team to encourage other areas of the SSC to make use of simple-to-use Self-service tools to
perform queries and generate reports on their own. These simple to use basic BI tools can be deployed with basic analytic
- capabilities and an underlying data model which is standardised and scaled down for internal reporting.
- Identify areas where optimization is required. Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Teams in the preparation of
the process capability assessment analysis using various optimization techniques. Prepare an Implementation plan with
- measures to assess outcome. Submit a recommendation to determine the best route to source resources - based on the
scale and scope of the project.
- The Business enablement focus must not only be on Productivity tools but should also include an Efficiency focus that
enables high value work production. Ensure that any new technology introduced is supported with increased investment in
- additional training - especially in a remote working scenario.- Collaborate in the design and development of the SSC Benefits Realisation framework against which all Business
Enablement projects will be assessed and measured to determine true value and fit for sustained purpose.
- Define and scope al Business enablement projects, including Budget and Resource requirements.
- Develop a detailed project schedule and work plan to track against budget spend.
- Prepare project Reporting schedule for various stakeholders and Governance committees/ Forums
- Procure and Manage 3rd party Contracts with Vendors and Suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected
deliverables and time frames for delivery.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the execution of the project.
- Continuously monitor and report on progress for on time delivery.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

- Establish and implement a communications network for information sharing within Shared Services for staff engagements.
- Facilitate AdHoc meetings on behalf of Shared Services, such as for work stoppages; Kick-off meetings; representation on
business forums etc.

Knowledge Management system that enables:
