**Role purpose**:
The EHOD: Overall VodaPay App leads a capable team of specialists who are responsible for
Concept, design and implementation of Overall App features and functionality.
Drive the Overall App for best-in-class consumer experience.
Work with growth team and other business leads to ensure maximation of app real estate for revenue, active users, and strategic considerations.
Run with a couple of business as Product Business owner to drive KPI’ for those businesses

The EHOD: Digital Channels is an articulate and persuasive communicator, has an inclusive leadership style and has the ability to forge effective working relationships quickly across all stakeholders.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
Manage and run the Overall VodaPay app and maximise the app real estate.
Own all journeys on that app that don’t belong to a particular product/business.
Manages all businesses on VodaPay over a period adhere to the VodaPay user experience, design and customer expectation.
Partner with all businesses and respective product owners, growth team to manage and maximise VodaPay KPI’s like revenue, gmv, active users, click through rates for banners/tiles, conversion rates etc
Manage VodaPay access outside of VodaPay follows expected user experience, even if these are owned by different team(s).
Create personalisation across VodaPay Home Page, Shop Page, notifications, payment/bill alerts. Leverage and work closely with the growth, analytics, and big data team to
Ensure positive TNPS outcomes by working with different stakeholders.
Develop appropriate commercial overviews, business models and processes and ensure that they are in place for any product and user experiment investment.
Manage the tracking of business benefits delivery by roadmap implementation.
Manage ownership of a couple of business, run them as product/business head. Manage and ensure product roadmap is aligned to business kpi’s, customer expectation and innovation from a market perspective.

**Performance Tracking**
Develop, manage and implement a robust tracking and reporting framework which includes all KPI’s for VodaPay, such as but not limited to, App journey analytics, Home Page icons, banners, tiles and their tracking in context to the product / business, metrics that help identify issues so that they can be proactively tracked, fixed and times taken to fix etc.
Monthly input to exco & other key decision-making bodies.
Delivery tracking of products and services into markets
Manage and control the product and service product budget and ROI

**Leadership and Teamwork**:
Provide inspirational leadership and knowledge sharing across VodaPay teams
Create a high level of team engagement to deliver best in class VodaPay experience.
Manage diversity of gender and culture background in team
Create an environment responsive to rapid changes in market conditions, intraday, weekly and monthly
Actively manage relationship and alignment with technology, business and product teams.
Forge a close working relationship with local market management teams and develop product communities to share best practice and execute key initiatives
Develop individuals within the team with real time coaching, feedback and timely career succession planning, ensuring that each individual has a documented personal development plan.
Manage recruitment and retention programs attract and maximise world class talent to develop a high performance team.

**Innovation and Change**
Drive innovation in product management and product delivery while guiding the allocation of resources from high to low impact initiatives.
Take deep interest in new technology and emerging trends and their relevance to VodaPay
Work with technology teams on new innovative initiatives - concept to implementation
Drive continues improvement programs for user experience and VodaPay app.

**Communication**
An articulate and persuasive communicator with an inclusive and principal leadership style and the ability to forge effective working relationships quickly and across markets.
Perceived as deeply knowledgeable and manages effectively “up” and “down”
An effective collaborator who effect improvements through influence and persuasion

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
Matric / grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent
3 year Business related Degree
MBA is an advantage
Minimum of 8 yrs. relevant experience essential in:
Online/Digital.
Sales
Insurance
Digital payments
Enterprise/Corporate customers
Operational management of large scale Online capability, including Online Store sales
Minimum of 4yrs Leadership/Management/Supervisory experience (essential)
International experience advantageous.
