Processing Department Supervisor

**The tasks you'll perform (not limited to)**:

- Provide Leadership & Guidance to and Management of the Accounts Processing Team in Finance to ensure the smooth running of the processing department to ensure the end product is accurate and complete.
- Review of daily accounting processing of finance team, including reconciliations.
- Ensure that the company's financial records are accurate and up-to-date and that all financial transactions are correctly recorded and documented
- Allocate work amongst the team, ensuring appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required
- Resolve financial queries by interacting and co-operating with all stakeholders within and outside of the organisation
- Ensuring adherence to company policies
- Facilitate the necessary training and supporting finance team members in the use of the relevant financial systems and procedures.
- Assist in month-end procedures.
- Assist with Interim and Annual audit preparation
- Adhoc duties as and when assigned

- **_5+years’ proven experience in Finance_**:

- **_ 2+ years' experience in a similar leadership and supervisor role advantageous _**:

- **_Cape Town based_**:

- **_ South African Citizen or Permanent Resident _**:

- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel is essential
- Working knowledge of the SAP system would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of general accounting systems
- Foreign Currency exposure advantageous.
- Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to Lead, guide and Support a diverse team
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, efficiently and collaboratively in a team and knowledge sharing environment, with colleagues across all business units.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including suppliers and colleagues.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft suite of software packages, specifically Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to and/or proficiency in the use of ERP & Financial software packages.
- Demonstrated adherence to statutory and company processes and procedures

- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a team and knowledge sharing environment.
