Inventory Administrator

My client a manufacturing company in foam products is looking for an Inventory Administrator

The Inventory Administrator is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- A relevant tertiaty qualification is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years Inventory experience in manufacturing environment.

Basic finance experience in Costing an advantage
- Advanced daily movement of stock.
- Exposure to Syspro will be advantageous.

**MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) o Accurate and timeous creation. o Monitoring and updating changes. o Continuous monitoring of stock and production variances to ensure accurate BOM’s. o Analyzing profitability reports for exceptions and errors. o Linking Bill of materials to Stock Codes o Controlling of Stock: o Co-ordinating monthly stock takes and ensuring accurate capturing thereof. o Analysing variances and implementing control measures. o Balancing and checking warehouses. o Cycle counts o Preparation and processing of Stock Adjustments o Key Performance Indicators / Key Performance Areas: o Inventory Transaction. o Labour and Overhead costing. o Compliance with Legislation. o Reporting / Analysis. o Stock take. o Assist in Stock Codes creation. o Assist with Foam Formulation updates and maintenance. o Contract pricing updates and maintenance. o Backflushing and Job receipting. o Receipting of Supply Chain Transfers. o Resolving Daily Inventory/System Queries o Petty Cash o Fixed Assets Verifications. o Analytical Reviews. o Maintenance of Archive Document register. o Other Ad hoc duties delegated by Cost Accountant.

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R22,000.00 per month
