**Job Description: Personal Assistant (PA) - Administrative and Billing Support**
- **Position Overview**:_
- **Responsibilities will include**:_
- Provide administrative support for daily operations.
- Manage billing activities, including accurately documenting and coding patient visits and procedures.
- Assist in coordinating insurance claims, verifying patient eligibility, and processing payments through payment system.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, taking into consideration availability and patient preferences.
- Maintain both electronic medical records (EMRs) as well as physical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and distribute medical reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents.
- Coordinate with pharmaceutical representatives and vendors as needed.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, ensuring their availability and restocking when necessary.
- Contribute to the smooth flow of patients by providing necessary information and guidance.
- Stay updated on medical billing and coding practices, insurance regulations, and other policies.
- Provide other general administrative support that may occure when such times arise.
- **Qualifications, Experience and Skills**:_

Dr Moola is looking for new faces to the industry who are highly motivated to learn and so no qualifications or previous experience is required however it would be advantageous to have previous experience in the relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and articulate demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures, insurance claims, and coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10) is preferred
- Willingness to learn electronic medical records (EMRs) and relevant software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with patients, staff, and external parties in a compassionate and courteous manner.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- **Work hours**:_

Monday - Fridays.

8am - 5pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fourways, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
