Our client, a producer of one of South Africa's award-winning Olive Oils, is looking to appoint a Sales and Key Accounts Manager. The Sales and Key Accounts Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. This role involves overseeing the sales team, developing strategic plans for business expansion, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The individual in this position will focus on managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Sales Management**:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and implement improvements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.

**Key Account Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.

**Business Development**:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients and partners.

**Forecasting and Planning**:

- Develop sales forecasts and budgets, and track progress against goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between sales and overall business objectives.

**Negotiation and Contract Management**:

- Lead negotiations with clients to secure favourable terms and agreements.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and execution of contracts.

**Reporting and Analysis**:

- Generate regular reports on sales performance, key account status, and market trends.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and key account management, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on achieving results.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to travel as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R65,000.00 - R90,000.00 per month
