HR Business Partner

This role is responsible for proactively leading all aspects of Reward and Compensation, managing payroll, benefits and compensation related projects, providing tactical HR support to the National HR Manager, People Managers and employees within Red Bull South Africa. The HR BP is the custodian of accurate headcount and organizational reporting through HRIS, ensuring local compliance with statutory benefits, and through accurate local & global reporting. The HR BP partners directly with functional business teams and managers to maximize people performance, and understands the business beyond the HR function and influences the overall organization to ensure superior operations and business outcomes.

- Business Partner
- Work as a partner for functional managers to input into and influence the direction and challenge plans with the goal to achieve and exceed business targets and advise on any people related plans, their impact and change management implications.
- Advise functional departments on topics such as talent management, engagement and performance management.
- Provide insight and analysis on people related measures to guide and develop key people focus areas for the business.
- Provide HR input for Business Planning processes.
- HR Onboarding/RB College - Ensure all new starts are trained on our systems and understand our roles as HR
- Compensation and Benefits
- Payroll Management - Processing of monthly permanent and part time payroll, preparing and submitting all relevant reports and accurate payroll data.
- Manage external stakeholder relationship with payroll provider
- Reward and Compensation - Managing all Payroll, Benefits and Compensation related projects.
- Key user and custodian of SAP HR data integrity - Managing all system updates, and changes - to reflect the current status of the business accurately.
- Managing the employee self-service system (leave/payslips/personal data/etc) -- Maintaining the planning data during the Annual Business Planning process ensuring accuracy of data
- Manage all inputs for Personnel Cost Planning and ensuring alignment with Finance during FRE/SRE/BP periods (budgets to be aligned, any and all costs associated with employees to be planned for)
- Manage Headcount and Organisation changes in reporting tool ensuring correct status
- Support the global HR HQ team in the implementation of Global HR Tools projects
- Coach managers on the Red Bull Compensation philosophy and drive managerial empowerment through educated decisions.
- Help manages the annual salary and benefits review and administration process in conjunction with the HR Manager.
- Ensures C&B practices comply with global guidelines and directives.
- Talent Management and Development
- Collaborate with Line Managers to identify training needs. Based on this analysis determine quality training and development solutions.
- Drive the Talent Management agenda in conjunction with the HR Manager and Line Management.
- Ensure data accuracy and preparation ahead of the Engagement Survey annually - Assist the HRM in supporting the Employee Engagement Survey and Action Planning Process.
- Ensuring accuracy of information in the Training Management system
- Assist with statutory Training Reporting (WSP/ATR)
- Transformation
- Managing the BBBEE Audit process - liaise with the key stakeholders and ensure all the relevant data is supplied to our BBBEE Verification Agency
- Oversee the collation of the monthly audit requirements, as we prepare for audit
- Support and assist with the execution of various skills and development initiatives, to ensure alignment with our BBBEE Goals
- Reporting/Local Compliance
- Manage the mid year and year end SARS Tax submissions process to ensure adherence to deadlines
- Ensure accurate submission of our Training Report (WSP + ATR) for prior year and ensuring that Skills plan has planned initiatives planned for upcoming year.
- Ensure timeous submission of COIDA submission
- Manage the reporting of STATS SA data once every quarter ensuring accurate information is between payroll provider and STATS SA
- Management of all annual compliance reporting to Employment Equity including submission of the EE report to the DOL (Dept of Labour)
- Recruitment
- Partner with the hiring managers to ensure that accurate information is used for the recruitment process, thereby ensuring targeted and quality recruitment.
