Junior Production Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Production Manager who will be responsible for the timeous manufacturing and distribution of stock. The incumbent ‘s day to day tasks include:

- Develop and review production plan for approval.
- Monitor execution of production plan.
- Co-ordinate and plan production activities to improve run time
- Monitor production progress and ensure that final products meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Analyse delays and interruptions and adjust production schedules to meet deadlines
- Investigate production problems, analyse root causes and implement solutions
- Analyse the trends of customer orders to enhance production planning
- Ensure timeous delivery of products to internal customers
- Manage inventory accurately within budgets and targets
- Maintain reports for planning activities and sequences
- Control budget to ensure it conforms to target set
- Ensure adherence to HACCP and GMP principles.
- Ensure samples are taken and sent for testing as per requirement.
- Liaise with Supervisors for the effective and efficient management of staff

**Requirements**:

- A proven working experience as a junior production manager of at least 3years.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
- Own transport is essential.
- A degree in Food Science/Chemistry/biological Science/Engineering or equivalent
