Junior Training Officer

A vacant position needs to be filled for the position of Training Officer. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying staff training and development needs and execute appropriate training. The duties and responsibilities, skills and requirements are listed below:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct training needs assessments

2. Design and develop the training programmes and courses

3. Prepare and present training and development

4. Assess and evaluate training and development

5. Problem Solving and Report writing

**Required knowledge and Skills**
- Computer literacy (Excel, Power Point and Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluent in English)
- Good Report writing skills
- Questioning skills
- Knowledge of and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of the different ways in which people can learn
- Time management
- Understanding of adult learners’ characteristics

**Requirements**:
Ø A proven working experience of at least 3 years as a Training Officer

Ø Training experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage

Ø Excellent organization and interpersonal skills

Ø Ability to process and present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Ø A degree/diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent

Ø Qualification in instruction and/ learning design will be an added advantage
