JDJ Diagnostics requires a Junior QA Document Controller who will be responsible for issuing and maintaining non-conformances, drafting minutes of meetings, and quality assurance administrative duties. Provide an effective and proficient Document Control and Administrative support service to the QA Division.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Controlling & distributing all SANAS schedules.
- Updating all laboratory organograms.
- Works independently to manage and administer effective Document Control systems ensuring compliance with applicable internal procedures and regulatory requirements
- Works with QA Manager to establish and execute Document Control Procedures.
- Supports review, update, filing, and distribution of controlled documents, including standard operating procedures, standard test methods, protocols, summary reports, and technical documents according to specific ISO format standards and guidelines.
- Creates and maintains document templates.
- Ensures controlled documents conform with applicable procedures and are maintained to latest revisions; reviews formats for consistency.
- Responsible for the timely distribution of draft and final controlled documents.
- Coordinates the approval process and orderly upload and filing of controlled documents to SharePoint.
- Supports controlled document life cycle / retention procedures.
- Manages the annual review and Document Change Control Programs.
- Performs proofreading, editing, word processing, and filing to support the Quality Assurance, Documentation, and Audit / Inspection functions.
- Creates and maintains filing systems (electronic and paper) for all controlled documents.
- Organises and maintains QA Document Room and Batch Release documentation relative to projects.
- Maintains Deviation, SANAS, and Change Control database / records, SOP Master List, and document number issuance logs for controlled documents.
- Manages Records Retention / Archiving, ensuring adherence to specific records retention schedules.
- Writes SOPs related to document control / document management.
- Assists with internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Provides cross-functional support within the QA department, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by QA Manager.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and all safety rules.
- Maintains an awareness of evolving industry standards for document generation and electronic document management.
- Comply with Total Quality Management Systems.
- Comply with training requirements including personal development.

**General**
- Ad hoc requirements.
- Management of QA Division Equipment.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric with Mathematics - 1 year working experience within the same or similar role Knowledge of Quality Assurance systems or a qualified Lab Assistant with HPCSA Registration and at least one year experience in a SANAS accredited Laboratory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in MS Word, and Excel Proficient in typing (minutes of meetings). Good written and verbal communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail are key knowledge in Adobe Professional will be an advantage.
- Experience in the regulated pathology industry.
- Valid code EB Driver’s license.
- Safety Representative - Advantageous.
- First Aider - Advantageous.
- Stock management.
- Laboratory information systems.

**Experience**
- +Min 1 years’ experience.

- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Broad knowledge of basic laboratory techniques.
- Previous experience in a laboratory or medical setting.
- Comfortable using medical technologies and lab equipment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a team.
- Communication skills (Verbal, writer presentation). Computer Literacy.
- Time Management and Evaluation skills.
