**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Title**: Key Account Manager for Electricity Meters

**Location**: Johannesburg, Midrand

**Working Hours**: 08h30 - 17h30

**Start Date**: January 2024

**Job Objective**:
**Key Responsibilities**

1. Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.

3. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.

4. Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

5. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

6. Forecast and track key account metrics

7. Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

8. Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

9. Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.

10. Monitor and analyse customer’s usage of our product.

11. Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships.

12. Must know clients in various Provinces such as the Northern Cape, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KZN and Namibia.

13. Liaise between the customer and internal teams.

**Educational Background**

Degree/ National Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or

relevant field

**Work Experience**

At least 5+ years working experience in the pre-paid electricity meter industry

Must have Sales experience with Municipalities

Proven work experience as a sales account manager or sales account executive

Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer service

Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)

Understanding of sales performance metrics

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time

Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
