Mid-Weight Copywriter
As a Mid-Weight Copywriter, you'll have experience writing engaging on and
offline content for B2B clients. As a digital specialist, you'll be responsible for producing
high-quality deliverables, including campaign strategies, content plans, website content, SEO copy,
UX hierarchy (just advice around the content side of this), social posts, and videos, as well as more traditional brochures, guides, and sales
decks.
You'll have a good understanding of how copy and content fit into the wider marketing
landscape and a passion for branding and social media marketing. And, you're someone who is
full of ideas and takes a genuine interest in finding creative solutions for our clients' problems
through copywriting, content, and strategy delivery.
You're a talented B2B copywriter and digital content creator that is comfortable presenting your
work to clients, and you're able to support the growth and development of junior members of
your team through mentoring, training, and sharing your knowledge. Most of all, you're a team
player with a can-do attitude who genuinely enjoys making clients happy
Roles & responsibilities
Maintaining quality, creativity, and consistency
- Demonstrate exceptional copywriting, content, and ideation abilities, sharing best
practices
- Run meetings (taking the lead) with clients to gather information and lead them on their content profile
and branding from a content perspective
- Understand the purpose of each copy or content brief (challenging as required) and
produce high quality, strategic output with the end channel and objective in mind
- Take ownership of your own copy and content briefs, and deliver them to a high standard
- Attend client meetings and present your own or the teams work as required
- Support and mentor junior members of the Content and Copy team to take ownership of
their own briefs and provide support including providing critical and strategic feedback,
proofing, QA and editing team members’ work where required
- Ensure that the use of brand guidelines is consistent across deliverables for a variety of
clients across different sectors
- Deliver a standardised level of quality across all delivered Content and Copy output
- Keep up to date on brand, digital marketing, content, and copywriting best practice and
strategies sharing knowledge with the wider team
- Follow QA process to review work thoroughly and demonstrate version control: avg. 2
rounds of amends per deliverable
- Accurately record billing time for clients
- Work closely with the Design team and individuals across the business to collaborate,
develop ideas and produce effective content
- Work with, and communicate regularly and effectively with, the Content Lead to identify
any potential issues prior to them becoming a problem
Strategy
- Work on sections of the brand development for key client brands, working closely with
the Content Lead and Senior Copywriters throughout brand development process
- Support the Client Services with creative content and campaign strategies, project
planning and input on briefs for both clients and the company
