**Job Title**: Quality Management System Assistant

**Location**: Durban, KZN

We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Management System Assistant to join our team. The Quality Management System Assistant will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring compliance with SABS/ISO standards. If you have a passion for quality, technical knowledge in manufacturing/plastics, and the ability to perform internal audits and laboratory work, we encourage you to apply.

**Skills Required**:

- Completion of Matric.
- Further education related to Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge or experience with SABS/ISO standards.
- Familiarity with SANS Standards is advantageous.
- Technical background in manufacturing/plastics.
- Proficiency in laboratory skills.

**Specific Skills Required**:

- Proficiency in creating and maintaining a QMS.
- Ability to conduct internal audits.
- Experience in product sampling.
- Capability to create quality verification procedures based on written standards.
- Maintenance of equipment calibrations.
- Management of control documents and registers.
- Tracking and resolution of non-conformances following corrective action procedures.
- Maintenance of a quality manual.
- Proficiency in risk analysis and evaluations.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word and Excel.
- Creation of work instructions.
- Familiarity with document control procedures.
- Essential computer skills.

**Experience Required**:
Applicants should have a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience that aligns with the skills required for this position.

**Job Expectations**:

- Maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance.
- Perform hands-on laboratory work and testing.
- Address SABS requirements and audits effectively.
- Manage all documentation related to the QMS and SABS requirements.
- Active participation in quality management within the production plant and lab.
- Learn and become proficient in various SANS product standards relevant to the company's products.

**Working Hours**:
Working hours will align with the current factory shift hours.

**Salary**:
