**The role**: Business development
**Typical duties**:
With direct contact with clients and fantastic exposure, this role is one that can offer lucrative opportunities for any in the world of sales. Interested in playing a vital role in driving business growth? Taking charge of pushing us to the next level in growing our industry potential?
What is involved?
This role is in the driving seat for sourcing, generating, and building new business for the organisation. This means you are responsible for researching and identifying prospects, implementing the correct strategy for approach and manually nurturing the prospect until it is ready to pass onto the sales team.
You will need to be extremely proactive in pursuing new opportunities and strategic in your thinking and approach. You'll frequently liaise with the likes of the sales director / COO, so commercial awareness and good business sense are essential.
You will need to be comfortable feeding back on how to optimise all areas of the business development strategy with a particular focus on strategies per Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), content effectiveness, decision makers and industry pain points.
**This role has three primary responsibilities**:
Researching and Identifying new prospects
Building authentic relationships with prospects
Manually nurturing prospects until they are ready to be passed onto sales
When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:
Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media)
Identify and qualify potential clients by understanding their business needs and pain points
Build and maintain relationships with prospects and nurture them through the sales pipeline
Schedule appointments and demos for our sales team with qualified leads
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies
Utilise the CRM (Hubspot) and other sales tools (Linkedin Sales Navigator) to track and manage prospecting efforts and pipeline progress
Participate in sales meetings and provide insights and feedback on the effectiveness of sales strategies
**Requirements**:
Must have a vehicle
**Must be able to work in the office five days a week**: offices are in Century City
**Those considering the role will need**:
Experience in a sales development / market research or outbound sales role
Highly experienced with Linkedin Sales Navigator
Proven track record of success in prospecting, lead generation or building relationships / communities online
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience working with CRM and other sales tools, such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or Pipedrive
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related fie
