Group Sales Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:

- Develop, implement and drive a comprehensive Group sales strategy encompassing all company verticals.
- Manage and nurture the sales pipeline, ensuring quarterly and annual targets are consistently

met through both cross-selling and acquiring new business.
- Formulate and effectively communicate a compelling Value Proposition tailored to meet client needs.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential sales opportunities and strategic acquisitions.
- Proactively seek out and cultivate business prospects, closing deals and providing guidance to team members in the art of successful deal closure.
- Generate monthly and quarterly sales reports to track performance and identify areas for

improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled Business Development Managers to achieve their highest potential.
- Drive sales team outcomes on both an individual and team level, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
- Oversee and manage the ASI Marketing team to ensure cohesive efforts in support of sales initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients, Stakeholders and prospective Acquisition Partners.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Preferably holds a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Possesses a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Development role.
- Demonstrated experience within the long-term insurance sector, including expertise in

Healthcare, Retirement, and Risk.
- RE5 qualification is required.
- MS Office Suite.
- Presentation skills.
- Experience with acquisition of companies and the due diligence process of potential acquisitions.
