- Risk & Security: ISO 27001 & 28001
- Minimum Insurance Security Standards
- Maintenance: Building - SANS 10400 / Electrical - SANS 10142-1
- Fire Systems: ASIB Requirements & SANS 10287
- Risk & Security: ISO 27001, ISO 28001, PSIRA & SAIDSA Bylaw 245 & POPI
- Business Continuity: ISO 22301
**Policies**:
- Familiarize yourself with all relevant company policies and procedures.
- Inspect & Audit that all company polices implemented as required especially the Risk & Security Policies.
**Health & Safety**:
Ensure full compliance to the OHS, COID Acts and the minimum ISO 45001:2018 standards:
- Identify Hazards and Risks
- Implement appropriate controls to manage the risks
- Train all relevant appointees to ensure competency in H&S
- Appoint competent employees to maintain the standards.
- Implement the relevant standards and procedures.
- Implement appropriate checks and inspections to manage the risks
- Inspect, Audit and Evaluate effectiveness of the H&S system.
- Arrange monthly SHE Meetings.
- Ensure budget allocation to implement the H&S system.
- Implement and use the MANGO SHERQ Online Management system to control and manage th relevant risks.
- Ensure continuous improvements, corrective actions and new initiatives implemented.
- Compliance to Department of Labour H&S requirements.
**Maintenance**:
- Ensure full inspections and checks of all security installations.
- Implement Maintenance and repair of all security systems i.e., alarms, electric fence, boom gates, CCTV etc.
**Quality**:
- Ensure full inspections and checks of all security installations.
- Implement Maintenance and repair of all security systems i.e. alarms, electric fence, boom gates, CCTV etc.
**Risk & Security**:
- Do Risk Assessment of security requirements and implement relevant controls and prevention strategy to eliminate any stock and asset losses.
- Manage and control Contract Security and ensure attendance and compliance to site SOP's.
- Complete Security and theft Investigations
- Attend to after hour incidents and events / call outs.
**Business Continuity**:
- Develop and implement relevant security business continuity plans in the event of theft, robbery, riots, strikes etc.
**Quarterly and yearly assessments**:
- Carry out yearly and quarterly security risk assessments throughout the property
**Meetings**:
- Conduct Risk & Security meetings and attend Health and Safety meetings quarterly.
**Administration**:
- General Security Administration and filing system.
**Adhoc**:
- Assist the facilities team with any admin or additional SHE duties as and when the need arises.
**HR & IR Management**:
- Implement HR / IR investigations on all security personnel.
- Ensure all security personnel comply with basic conditions of employment.
**Finance**:
- Ensure compliance to Security budget and ensure zero overspend.
- Grade 12/Matric/NQF 4
- Diploma or Degree (Advantage)
- At least 1-2 years’ experience within an Security functions and administrative role and or acting as an Security Representative.
- Qualified Security Grading (PSIRA Certification)
- At least 2-3 years previous experience within a Security Role where Security Hazards and Risks was identified and Controls implemented.
- At least 1-2 years’ working experience within a security department and have technical knowledge of security facility installations and maintenance of electrical fence, fire and contract security systems.
- Knowledge and experience in managing permanent and temp security contractors.
- Qualified in ISO 27001 & 28001 Security systems and the following to be an added advantage i.e. ISO45001:2018 / ISO 14001:2015 / ISO 9001:2015 and the implementation of the ISO systems via the Mango online SHERQ Management system.
- Knowledge to develop, implement and manage a security budget.
- Experience in working as part of a team to implement and complete security projects as per required deadlines and budget.
