Student Recruitment Officer

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Participates in the development of student recruitment and retention plans, strategies, and written materials.
- Visits high schools, and colleges, speaks to groups and individual students, and meets with school counsellors to promote outreach activities; arranges visits from prospective students and parents.
- Creates and distributes resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs; develops mentorship programs.
- Prepares reports and proposals and responds to inquiries from students.
- Design and prepare PowerPoint presentations, brochures, posters, flyers, etc.
- Create PowerPoint presentations for recruiting events.
- Attend college career fairs, interact with students and promote our employer brand.
**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification
- Computer literacy - Microsoft office, Excel essential.
**Work experience**
- 2 - 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
**Personal abilities**
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
