**Mission/vision**:
This company is located in colorful and relaxed Cape Town and is working hard every day to provide affordable accommodation and travel experiences to people of all ages and walks of life. They breathe hospitality and are gaining popularity around the globe

**Internship**:
The position will be to man the bar/café of the hotel. There is a morning shift where you will work as a host/hostess and an evening shift where you will work behind the bar. You will be tasked with giving guests tips and advice about Cape Town and surrounding areas. Depending on the shift you will be assisting with either the breakfast buffet/restaurant or bar/café.

**Student profile**:
The company is looking for a fun and vibrant person, who knows what hospitality is and enjoys talking to guests and solving problems. You also have a love for backpacking and travelling.

**Field of study**:
Hotel | Hospitality | Tourism | Leisure

**Daily tasks**:

- Running the café during the day
- Chatting to guests about what to do in Cape Town while they are visiting
- Daily stock control
- Running food & drinks
- Running events like pool competitions, beer pong and movie nights

- Friendly and social
- Eager to learn
- Hospitable
- A proficient level of English both verbal and written
