Position: Business Development Representative
Work hours: 9 am to 6 pm South Africa Time Zone
**Compensation range**:_US$1,500-US$2,000/month_**

**About the role**
We are an agency that specialises in connecting top talent with awesome tech startups across the globe. Our focus is on building lasting partnerships and delivering exceptional results for our clients. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team and help expand our client base.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and prospect new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential clients in various industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in potential client companies.
- Work closely with the leadership team to align outreach strategies with overall company goals.
- Present our services to potential clients, highlighting our value proposition and how we can meet their hiring needs.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that all contracts are in line with company policies and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless client handover and excellent service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities for growth.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in a B2B agency or similar environment.
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
- Previous experience working in a startup environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
- Experience working remotely for overseas companies, particularly in the UK, Europe, or the US.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to contribute to the growth of the company.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
