**The Logistics and Transport team seeks to appoint an Accounts Payable Controller**

**You will be responsible for the following activities**:
**P2P preparations for each month**:

- Creation of requisitions on Sap system, sending the requisitions to procurement for contract creation.
- Creating goods and services on OPTIMA, receive the invoices and send them to accounts payable in finance for payment and resolve OPTIMA account queries.
- Linking contracts to each requisition and send it back to Procurement for procurement to create the Purchase orders for both Secondary and primary contractors.
- Getting all purchase orders to be released by responsible managers.
- Goods receipt the Po according to the volumes and kilometres that are projected on P2P

**Invoice Control**:

- Control the flow of all secondary and primary transporters invoices, by goods receipting each Po according to the invoice after controllers have verified the volumes and KM on the invoices
- Sending the goods receipted invoices to finance on time to ensure that payment to our transporters is done timeously every month.
- Individual transporter payment recon to ensure that all transporters are paid and the statement is on current.
- Resolve all payment queries within the set due date in the company policy.

**Accruals**
- Statistical forecasting of the volumes, kilometres and other variables contributing to the accruals process
- Verification and validation of accrual calculations by relevant managers before submitting to finance for capture,
- Track payments to all contractor’s and record any variances.
- Prepare journals for any expenses to be re-allocated

- Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guidelines and legal requirements within area of responsibility.
- Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPI’s and risk reduction strategies.

That HSE competency requirements are enforced within area of responsibility

**Context and environment**
- You will be responsible to ensure all Procure-to-pay forecasted kilometres and rates are processed on time on the system. Ensure that all invoices and support documents are received on time stamped and followed through the payment tracking reports with the aim of settling all due amounts on time. The incumbent will be accustomed with the important task of cross-functionality where any lapse and or lack of urgency and inefficient impacts both internal and external customers’ alike negative thereby putting the company’s finances in unnecessary pressure. Team-work is encouraged.**Accountability**
- P2P Processing - PR and Goods Receipts
- Transport and Opex Payment Processing
- On-time processing of Queries (Avoiding late payments as all cost)
- GRIR analysis and validation
- Loss billing report creation

**Qualifications and experience required**
- Degree/B-Tech in Finance, Supply Chain or other relevant qualification - essential
- 0-3 years working experience
- Knowledge of Business Statistics
- Knowledge of SAP and any other Business management systems
- Experience is using MS Power tools i.e. MS Excel, Power Pivot, Power BI, etc. essential
- Good understanding of HSEQ principles for the transportation of Dangerous goods
