Key Account Manager

**INTRODUCTION**
**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all allocated sales targets are monitored and achieved within the agreed time frame to meet annual targets
- Attend all meetings, conferences, and workshops as and when required to do so
- Analyse data and statistics, and conduct research, to identify opportunities and provide feedback to line manager
- Develop a thorough understanding of key customers' needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
- Address and resolve key customers concern and complaints
- Continuously review key customers’ needs and share proposed and authorised solutions that meet both the business and key customers objectives
- Prepare and present approved proposals to key customers
- Fulfil the role of the main point of contact between key customers and internal teams.
- Communicate and collaborate with relevant internal departments including but not limited to advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that needs are met.
- Compile reports on account progress, current delivery to anticipated volumes, forecasts, future opportunities and present to line manager
- Identify and negotiate new contracts with key customers
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Ensure that all established deadlines are met in order to build trust and meet key customers’ needs and expectations
- Ensure all approved products and services are delivered to key customers in line with approved plans
- Prepare and brief in detailed product requirements as per key customer’s brief
- Generate quotations for all approved customer requests and ensure sign off prior to commencing with processing of the product
- Collaborate effectively with line manager and other team members to ensure existing and new key customers’ needs are met
- Comply with all internal procedures and processes
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in the personal care, beauty, and fragrance industry a requirement
- 3 - 5 years’ experience managing key accounts in a medium to large company a requirement
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in generating, maintain and growing a customer base is required
- Valid Drivers license: Code 8
- Creative mindset and ability to identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Creative, knowledgeable about trends, within the beauty and personal care industry
- Ability to effectively manage multiply key customer accounts
- Ability to Identify opportunities to improve the business.
- Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Ability to build effective trust relationships with internal and external customers
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
- Attention to detail
- Able to work flexible hours in line with business requirements
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Able to travel nationally
