Digital Marketing Co-ordinator

The job holder will be responsible for carrying out his or her functions and responsibilities in accordance with Mercy Mission values and working closely with the digital marketing team to: plan, monitor, implement, and optimize the digital campaigns across all digital channels.

**Duties and Tasks**:
ª Determine, create, and assess the marketing plans based on an understanding of the aims of the Mercy Mission local and global charity trends.

ª Develop multichannel marketing strategies and plans based on stakeholder inputs by converting brand strategies into them; to advance activities and services.

ª Investigate new strategies, tools, and channels, dig deep into data, run tests, and investigate new techniques to continually open up new opportunities and produce outcomes.

ª Oversee the marketing team's daily operations and assign duties, provide training, or conduct performance reviews.

ª Creating, establishing, and maintaining a social media presence on all digital platforms through a group of artworks: (Cards, videos,).

ª Initiate studies on charitable causes and examine the results.

ª Showcasing Mercy Mission's momentum by emphasizing its accomplishments.

ª Using the ability to share benchmarks and insights across the organization and with great communication skills, the coordinator can track, measure, and optimize marketing tactics to accomplish specified KPIs.

ª Extensive familiarity with and comprehension of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media networks.

ª Manage the SEO, SEM, and other internet advertising tools.

ª Utilize efficient digital strategies to support the resource mobilization department.

ª Establishing accounts with electronic payment channels in order to receive donations from all over the world.

ª Responsible for all printed materials related to the organization's activities and ensuring their distribution to the target audience in a professional manner.

ª Whenever necessary, represent Mercy Mission at significant outside events and initiatives.

ª Carry out any other duties assigned by the line manager that are related to the job purpose.

**A-** **Skills**:

- Excellent administrative and organizational skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.
- Managing digital marketing campaigns across a variety of digital marketing platforms.
- Has the capacity to inspire and lead a team through a time of change.
- Has the capacity to collaborate with other teams while also having the presence to introduce innovation.
- Has the capacity to produce and deliver compelling content that is audience-focused.
- Upbeat, and solution-oriented.
- Understanding of WordPress, Hootsuite, MailChimp, Analytics, and Tag Manager, as well as other digital platforms of a similar nature.
- Adobe Creative Cloud program skills is necessary.
- Understanding of similar remote communication and management tools, such as CRM, SharePoint, and MS Teams.

**B-** **Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of online community involvement.
- Possessing knowledge of tracking and assessing digital measures, particularly website.

Knowledge of designing artistic resources for many internet platforms.
- Knowledge of management principles involved in coordination processes, leadership style, resource allocation, team management.
- A solid understanding of humanitarian efforts and international development.

Knowledge of the Islamic fundraising environment.

A degree in digital marketing-related duties in the NGO/charity sector with practical experience 4-5 years in digital marketing.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
