1.2. Duties and Responsibilities:
Management
- Oversee all day-to-day FTTH Telesales operations.
- Manage agents’ productivity by monitoring and evaluating their performance, with a focus on the behaviours that require modification for success.
- Establish and maintain a complementary sales culture and promote initiatives such as team building.
- Manage staff and resources to ensure the team meets the sales targets, utilizing the outbound dialler management system
- Conduct effective resource planning to maximise the productivity of resources.
- Prepare convincing, striking and correct content in messaging on calls.
- Facilitate effective communication throughout the call centre.
- Develop and enhance procedures to make the team more efficient.
- Manage, measure and report on all FTTH telesales deliverables on a monthly basis against set targets and evaluate of performance results.
- Manage turnaround times from leads received to contact.
- Manage the recruitment of new staff and provide training to personnel to maintain high customer service standards.
- Take corrective action measures by admonishing agents in a positive, supportive, and encouraging manner when performance is impacted negatively.
- Encourage agent retention.
Client Experience
- To ensure agents are handling their calls in an effective and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Consistently strive to manage and improve customer sales experience and ensure all QA protocols are delivered on.
- Manage and improve processes to communicate with potential customers.
- Implement and manage new digital platforms to improve customer sales experience.
- Writing scripts.
Administration
- Coordinate and oversee the FTTH Sales administration process, systems (Vicidial) and general workflows.
- Manage and improve administration processes to improve customer sales experience.
- Manage the processing of data and leads, to ensure quality leads are provided to telesales agents.
- Manage vendors and suppliers.
- Knowledge of Vicidial system is imperative.
- Collect, analyse and report on call-centre statistics.
- Measure return on investment, lead to sale conversion ratios and management reporting.
Business development
- Seek and implement opportunities to grow and improve FTTH uptake.
- Manage the process of introducing new products to our telesales team through measures like product training.
- Implement/ establish new systems or portals to monitor, measure and improve lead to sales conversion ratios.
1.3. Qualifications Required:
- Minimum Matric qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualification
1.4. Work Experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Sales Call Centre manager
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Telecommunications industry preferable
- At least 10 years’ experience in the Sales Call Centre environment
1.5. Skills Required:
- Proficient in MS Office and call centre equipment/software programs
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a problem-solving ability
- Positive and patient
**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Sales Call Centre manager: 5 years (required)
- Telecommunications industry preferable: 5 years (required)
