Project Manager, Ci Operations

**Key Responsibilities**
**Job overview**:
The quality assurance role will work closely with operations project management teams on identifying & reconciling field quality issues and driving continuous improvement, use systems or tools to track data fluctuations, addressing fieldwork issues through data analysis, making sure Nielsen’s data is reliable & trusted. This role also provides support, recognition and feedback to assist employees to achieve their performance standards and deliver on expectation. The Individual is tasked with the obligation to ensure quality and compliance on all the projects deliverables as per NielsenIQ standards and processes.
**Essential Duties**
- Solid understanding of the interview process, preferably in market research, and familiarity with commonly used terminology and jargon
- Strong communication and “people skills”; able to effectively problem solve and diffuse potential conflicts
- Organized with strong time management skills; proactive and able to meet deadlines and follow-up on action items
- Detail-oriented, both in giving instructions and monitoring process and deliverables
- Ability to prioritize, negotiate, solve problems and work under pressure
- Good command of English and local language(s) (verbal and written)
- Computer literacy and accurate keyboard skills
- Implement the SOP and identify, document and take action on any non-compliance
- Provide support on any follow-up action(s) that may be required by QC team
- Implement quality assurance procedures in accordance with data collection methodology;
- Ensure investigation is appropriately conducted considering robust analysis, documentation of root causes and identifying potential risks to fieldwork quality;
- Ensure timely communication to the field team or vendor on any quality issues found;
- Ensure appropriate remediation is identified that will address the root cause and proactively prevent similar issues from occurring;
- Use systems or tools to track data fluctuations and identify & address fieldwork issues through data analysis;
Quality Management and compliance
- Ensure an effective review on effectiveness of quality system at defined intervals;
- Thorough understanding of the SOPs and related NielsenIQ fieldwork standards
- Ensure the overall quality and integrity of the data collected as per Nielsen standards
- Verify Field Team’s compliance with the SOPs when conducting a project
- Be unbiased, process driven and able to document outcomes accurately and objectively
- Provide an accurate measure of Interviewer performance and effectiveness
- Detail-oriented, both in understanding instructions and executing process and deliverables
- Ensure that QC deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements
- Track project progress periodically and report the same to management
- Conduct fieldwork observation/accompaniment when required and address vendor issues to help field team to implement corrective actions so they are consistent with quality standards;
- Responsible for leading and managing Nielsen quality system improvement initiative across all departments and functions to ensure that quality initiatives and plans are executed and maintained in full compliance;
Resource Management
- Work closely with field team/vendors to ascertain their capacity & capability level and allocate resources to meet project requirements.
- Proactively identify the resource gap and work with sourcing/HR team to supplement the gap;
Vendor Management
- Provide performance feedback to Vendors to improve their morale and motivation;
- Encourage continuous improvement by providing Vendors with timely, constructive feedback and necessary support to ensure high quality and timely delivery;
- Organize KPI discussion and action planning meeting to provide feedback and recognition to vendor partners on their project execution;
Time Management
- Design project schedule to align resource allocation and timeline;
- Drive fieldwork team or external vendors to meet project milestones according to planned schedule;
Cost Management
- Manage and track QC budget and variance;
- Document project life cycle cost information for use in controlling expenditures
- Analyze audits of costs and prepare reports
Risk Management
- Proactively identify and manage resolution of risks and issues that may negatively impact a project deliverable;
- Seek and implement innovative ways to remove project obstacles;
- Escalate project issues and risks as appropriate;
Compliance
- Manage, maintain and dispose all project materials and documentation according to company SOP manual.
- Fully complied with data security and privacy policy to protect personal individual-level data as well as client provided name list;
- Work with fieldwork team and external vendors/suppliers to assure the process adherence to company SOP as well as meeting country policies & regulations.
