**Job Summary**:
**Essential Job Functions**:

- Maintain and manage company computer networks.
- Ensuring network security and availability
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting network issues.
- Configuring and maintaining virtualization technologies
- Implementing and maintaining cloud-based networking solutions
- Managing and maintaining local and cloud-based backups

**Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills**:

- Qualification in computer science, computer engineering or a related field preferred.
- A+ and N+ certification from CompTIA is essential.
- A valid industry certification such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, and MCSE is an added advantage.
- 3+ years experience in a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and security best practices
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Wireshark, and SNMP
- Knowledge of network operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco IOS
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose network issues.
- Experience with routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and experience with cloud-based networking
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
