**Role Description**
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Co create an ambitious and progressive global people strategy with the goal of making Cognia the best possible place to work in the legal sector, enhancing productivity and fast tracking Cognia’s growth plans
- Support the CEO and leadership team with thought leadership relating to all elements of people leadership
- Drive the employee experience agenda across all areas of the employee life cycle, recognising a consistent and positive employee experience that fuels business growth
- Shape leadership development, enabling leaders to live the Cognia culture and getting the best out of every team member
- Support the CEO and the organisation in co creating the culture needed to support Cognia’s growth plans and support this shift via various cultural levers, including leadership development, policy change, internal communication and HR practices (OD, performance management etc)
- Transform the learning agenda, recognising that learning is a key driver of engagement and critical in a rapidly changing VUCA world
- Lead the reward strategy, which includes financial and non financial incentive schemes, with a particular focus on recognition
- Ensure a market leading approach to diversity and inclusion, enabling Cognia to build diverse and talented teams, providing them with an inclusive culture, which enables them to bring their best selves to work
- Champion wellbeing, ensuring that this is a key part of Cognia’s inclusive culture
- Inspire, develop and mentor the HR team to ensure that they are focused on delivering an excellent and consistent employee experience to the business and they are supported by the most appropriate digital tools
- Drive the internal communications approach, as this is a key enabler of cultural change
- Ensure Cognia is legally compliant (from an employment law perspective) in all the markets in which it operates
- Using latest thinking in people practices, via regular external and internal scanning and employee listening, develop progressive HR initiatives, policies and practices

- Constructively express challenging and sensitive views at senior level, whilst maintaining balance and respect for others
- Proactively communicates Cognia’s offerings and services externally
