An exciting opportunity exists for a **CORPORATE FACILITIES MANAGER **at **Financial Shared Services Division** in **Bryanston**, **Johannesburg**. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the buildings, fire care, electrical, water and related facilities infrastructure is implemented and maintained according to company and legislative requirements. Manage assets according to the asset care strategy, incorporating good health and safety practices and maintaining sound facilities standards to ensure optimised services delivery.

**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:
- ** Manage and lead the facilities management team**
- Lead facilities management team
- Manage facilities services and staff shop
- Manage day to day running of the Bryanston Campus
- ** Ensure Accurate Reporting and Financial Control (budgets and actuals)** including Procurement and Contract Negotiations**
- Prepare and manage operational and capex budgets
- Manage day to day costs
- Negotiate service contracts with vendors
- ** Ensure the effective delivery of services (security, office cleaning and canteen)**
- Manage vendors and contractors
- Manage services and standards
- Drive high standards
- Manage customer expectations
- ** Ensure a functional, safe and compliant facilities infrastructure**
- Minimise risk on the Bryanston Campus and ensure compliance with legislation
- Ensure continuous compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements
- ** Ensure compliance to Health and Safety**
- ** Ensure a safe, neat and hygienic working environment for staff**
- ** Ensure well-managed and effective utilisation of assets (Asset Care)**
- Ensure maintenance scheduled and completed for relevant assets
- Budget for asset replacement
- ** Plan and deliver ad-hoc projects**
- Plan, schedule and complete projects to agreed timelines and standards required, liaise with clients
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:
- **Minimum of 5 years’ experience** as a Facilities Manager
- ** At least 2 years’ experience** in looking after a **Corporate Office Building**:
- ** 2 years’ and more experience** in managing a facilities team
- Previous experience in Health & Safety, risk audits, first aiders, and fire marshals will be highly advantageous
**Qualifications**:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Qualification in Facilities Management, OHSA or similar
