**Job Purpose**:
Housekeeping is responsible to conduct cleaning duties in the assigned areas, setups for meeting rooms and provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service to our stakeholders.


**Key Tasks**:

- Manage and set up of meeting rooms.
- Clean-up of areas used.
- Prepare and serve refreshments.
- Manage checklist of meeting room equipment
- Perform a variety of detailed housekeeping duties, dusting, polishing and cleaning of bins,
- Liaise with Facilities Coordinator on Meeting catering request and booking.
- Liaise with receptionist on booked meetings.
- Stock-take of equipment and supplies.
- Follow procedures for preparing of solutions for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors and ensuring electrical appliance are used to ensure that hazards are not created.
- Notify Facilities Coordinator concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Shredding and scanning of highly confidential documents.
- Performing adhoc duties as and when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric, / NQF 4
- Computer Literate
- Fluent in English

**Experience**:

- 6 - 12 months hostess or events related experience.
- 6 - 12 months office cleaning related experience.
- Proven record of cleaning and sanitizing washrooms, showers, fixtures and furniture.
- Able to operate cleaning equipment properly and safely.
- Knowledge of restocking supplies
- Knowledge of meeting room set ups.
- Covid 19 protocol and cleaning understanding

- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of confidentiality.
