The receptionist is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical, and administrative support in the company in an effective and efficient manner.

**Outputs and Responsibilities**
Professionally answer telephone, screen and direct calls
Take and relay messages accurately
Provide information to callers and resolve queries
Greet persons entering organisation and direct persons to correct destination
Deal with queries from the public and customers
General administrative and clerical support
Receive and sort mail and deliveries
Tidy and maintain the reception area
General housekeeping
Assist with tea and coffee duty when required
Other duties as specified by your Line Manager

**Education/Qualification, Skills and Experience**
Matric
Minimum of 1-year receptionist and switchboard experience in a professional organisation
Customer services

**Skills and Competencies**
Friendly and helpful individual
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Well disciplined’ individual
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of MS Office packages
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Switchboard skills
