Renowned company with a national presence, based in Montague Gardens is searching for a well-seasoned Logistics Coordinator with at least 3 -5 years’ experience within a logistics or distribution of fresh produce / perishable environment.

**The ideal incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to**:
Daily logistics planning of the cold store dispatch activities (container bookings, Q67, loading instructions and daily planning) and the flow of information to all the relevant stakeholders

Coordinating and monitoring supply chain / logistic operations

Loading daily instructions

Allocation of daily timeslots for all dispatches into containers & trucks

Container bookings

Preparation of all relevant documentation pertaining to dispatching, bookings and inspections

Liaising with suppliers on a regular basis

Prepare the documentation for hand over to operations / transporter for day of loading

Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements

Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another

Enforce safety and housekeeping programme on an ongoing basis

Maintaining housekeeping standards

Manage the team with regards to productivity and time management

Prepare accurate reports for senior management

Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Managing risks regarding logístical activities

**Qualification**:
Matric

Diploma / Certificate Logistics / Supply Chain Management will be highly adv

Computer Literate MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & Paltrack will be adv.

5- 8 Years’ experience in a fresh produce / perishable environment adv

**Attributes**:
Very good communication skills and ability to plan well

Ability to coach employees to work more efficiently and have the capacity to manage people dynamics

High energy levels

Disciplined and presentable

Ability to work independently and be part of a team

Strong administrative skills

Must be willing to work overtime as and when required.

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month
