Helpdesk Coordinator

**Purpose statement**:
To provide assistance to the helpdesk and support manager and the support team in the execution of their duties and to serve as an interface between the clients and the sales representatives.
**Helpdesk administration**:
Attend to pharmacy queries and problems when received in a timely manner and supply customers with updates, feedback, or resolutions.
Schedule technical and new installation appointments for X/procure helpdesk technicians.
Attend to all enquiries immediately and supply the customer with relevant information and documentation as needed.
Manage and update white scheduling board with appointments made and completed by helpdesk technicians.
**General administration including operations**:
Inform personal assistant to update all applicable fields in V Tiger with new client details immediately when information is received.
Draw reports on request within agreed time period for helpdesk staff.
Support helpdesk team to ensure customers are regularly informed of progress where applicable.
Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are followed.
Phone OSR customers as instructed.
Manage new installations and schedule the new installation appointments.
Submit pharmacy installation reports to pharmacy sales manager.
**Skills and knowledge**:
Client database - knowledge of the entire client database.
Computer skills - ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite.
Database skills - ability to navigate within the database.
Verbal communication skills - ability to handle queries and communicate across all levels.
Written communication skills - ability to correspond in writing to the relevant role players.
Interpersonal skills - the ability to interact with people at all levels.

**Experience**:
One year’s experience in an administration role.
Experience in an IT environment will be an advantage.
**Special requirements**:
Own cell phone.
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Proficient in MS Office.
