Business Applications Coordinator

**Overall Purpose of the Job**:
The Business Applications Coordinator is accountable for systems administration and related support and maintenance of the relevant Business Application Systems in all areas within the Capsicum Culinary Studio and IIE School of Hospitality and Service Management brands
**Responsibilities**:
- System administration and related support and maintenance of the relevant Business Application Systems in all areas
- Working with specific users to support them in their roles - assisting with user queries, troubleshooting, resolution of problems, and escalation where necessary
- Responsible for communicating with staff, especially with regard to Updates, problems, and feedback
- Participate in training programmes and initiatives to ensure that stakeholders and users have the required knowledge to make optimal use of the relevant Business Application systems. This includes new user training, ongoing training, and the management of all relevant training materials
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of appropriate standards, procedures and documentation related to the specified areas of responsibility
- Helpdesk management, daily logging of helpdesk queries, tracking the resolution of queries and incidents, troubleshooting and a monthly helpdesk analysis
- Point of Escalation
- Assistance with Key Business Strategic initiatives ie Business systems decisions and contributing to the management of business system, Registration Contracts, Audits and other key business-related systems projects
- Establish and maintain relationships with Key stakeholders ie Brand, AdvTech IT and other
- Communicate effectively with other team members, clients, and users, AdvTech IT and other to promote cooperation and mutual success in the specified areas
- Implementation of role-appropriate initiatives and innovation - where applicable
- Assistance with key Business strategic system-related projects - where necessary
- This individual should be a problem solver who is willing to listen to staff concerns and questions, who knows all available resources, and who is willing to take issues forward to the appropriate parties
**Experience**:
The person would need a minimum of three years of working experience - ideally in the related fields of IT/Business Analysis and or project management
**Education - Minimum**:
A Tertiary Qualification in the related discipline - IT, Business Analytics, or Information Systems related Qualifications
