Duties/Pligte
- Managing academic resources and materials for students;
- Administering assessments, grading assignments and maintaining student records;
- Supervising clinical training and Work Integrated Learning;
- Contributing to the development and review of course materials, syllabi, and curriculum planning;
- Providing guidance and supervision to students, including mentoring, advising on academic matters, and overseeing projects or research;
- Developing, registering and managing community service and Social Impact projects;
- Providing Biokinetics related client services and supervising Biokineticist-in-Training and intern trainees;
- Pursuing advanced studies (i.e., PhD) in Biokinetics, if not yet obtained;
- Engaging in active research within the field of Movement Science and Exercise Therapy, and contributing to the Division's research outputs;
- Securing research funding, managing research projects, and publishing findings in reputable journals;
- Participating in divisional, departmental and faculty meetings, and in committees or working groups;
- Acting as an internal reviewer and module moderator;
- Assisting with academic events and contributing to accreditation processes;
- Engaging in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical, teaching, research, and administrative skills.

- en Kliniese Oefenfisiologie, Oefenbestuur vir Kroniese Toestande, en Pediatriese Oefenfisiologie aan voorgraadse en/of nagraadse studente;
- Bestuur akademiese hulpbronne en materiale vir studente;
- Administreer assesserings, puntetoekenning aan take, en handhaaf studenterekords;
- Hou toesig oor kliniese opleiding en Werkgeïntegreerde Leer;
- Bydra tot die ontwikkeling en hersiening van kursusmateriaal, sillabusse, en kurrikulumbeplanning;
- Verskaf leiding en toesig aan studente, met inbegrip van mentorskap, advisering oor akademiese aangeleenthede, en toesig oor projekte of navorsing;
- Ontwikkel, registreer, en bestuur gemeenskapsdiens en Sosiale Impakprojekte;
- Verskaf Biokinetika-verwante kliëntediens en hou toesig oor Biokinetikus-in-Opleiding en interns;
- Gaan voort met gevorderde studies (dit wil sê, PhD) in Biokinetika, indien nog nie verkry is nie;
- Aktiewe deelname aan navorsing binne die veld van Bewegingswetenskap en Oefenterapie, en dra by tot die Afdeling se navorsingsuitsette;
- Verkry navorsingsbefondsing, bestuur navorsingsprojekte en publiseer bevindinge in betroubare joernale;
- Deelname aan afdelings-, departementale-, en fakulteitsvergaderings, en aan komitees of werkgroepe;
- Tree op as 'n interne resensent en modulemoderator;
- Hulpverlening met akademiese geleenthede en dra by tot akkrediteringsprosesse;
- Deelname aan voortdurende professionele ontwikkelingsaktiwiteite om kliniese, onderrig-, navorsings-, en administratiewe vaardighede te verbeter.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- MSc in a Biokinetics-related field (NQF 9);
- Registration with the HPCSA as an independent practitioner;
- At least three years' experience in a Biokinetics practice;
- At least three years' research experience;
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, clinical supervision and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Engagement in community service initiatives;
- At least one publication in peer-reviewed journals and/or presentations (verbal or poster) at local or regional meetings or conferences;
- Experience of successful supervision of at least honours students;
- Proficient in both English and Afrikaans;
- Strong teaching and supervisory skills;
- Outstanding administrative and organisational skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Research skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- MSc in 'n Biokinetika verwante rigting (NQF9);
- Registrasie by die GPRSA as 'n onafhanklike praktisyn;
- Minstens drie jaar se ervaring in 'n Biokinetika-praktyk;
- Minstens drie jaar se navorsingservaring;
- Bewese ervaring in kurrikulumontwikkeling, kliniese toesig en onderrig op voor

- Minstens een publikasie in geakkrediteerde vaktydskrifte en/of aanbieding (mondeling of plakkaat) by plaaslike of streekvergaderings of -konferensies;
- Ervaring van suksesvolle toesig oor minstens honneursstudente;
- Vaardig in beide Engels en Afrikaans;
