Duties/Pligte The incumbent for this permanent nGAP posistion (New Generation Academic Professional) will be required to teach the following modules and undertake research-related responsibilites:

- ICT for learning focusing on technology integration in education in the BEd programme, and developing and assessing teaching and learning materials for CAT teaching in the PGCE programme;
- Design-based research methods and Learning Design and Technology in the honours programme,
- Researching and studying in technology-aided education towards a spesialised PhD;
- Supervising and co-supervising postgraduate students on Honours level in technology-aided education;
- Participating in social impact projects.

Van die kandidaat vir hierdie permanente nGAP-pos (Nuwe Generasie Professionele Akademikus) sal verwag word om die volgende modules te onderrig en verantwoordelikhede te onderneem:

- IKT vir onderrig met 'n fokus op tegnologie-gebaseerde onderrig in die BEd-program, en ontwikkel en assesseer onderrig
- en leermateriaal vir CAT-onderrig in die NOS-program;
- Leerontwerp en tegnologie en ontwerpgebaseerde navorsingsmetodes in die honneursprogram;
- Navorsing en studie in tegnologie-gebaseerde onderrig met die oog op 'n gespesialiseerde PhD;
- Tree op as studieleier en medestudieleier vir nagraadse studente in tegnologie-gebaseerde onderrig op Honneursvlak,
- Deelname aan projekte vir sosiale impak.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- A South African who meets the *nGAP appointment requirements,
- A South African education qualification, and a relevant master's degree passed with an average of at least 70%;
- Knowledge of the South African education contexts;
- Knowledge of classroom pedagogy in the BEd and PGCE programmes within the CAPS education policy;
- Teaching experience in, a good working knowledge of and excellent spoken and written proficiency in at least two official South African languages;
- Knowledge of and teaching experience in technology-aided education in higher education contexts;
- Registration or intention to register for a PhD with the aim of completing it within six years.
- 'n Suid-Afrikaner wat kwaifiseer vir 'n *nGAP-aanstelling;
- 'n Suid-Afrikaanse onderwyskwalifikasie en 'n toepaslike Meestersgraad met 'n slaagsyfer van minstens 70%;
- Kennis van die Suid-Afrikaanse onderwyskontekste;
- Kennis van onderrigmetodiek in tegnologie-gebaseerde onderrig in die BEd
- en NOS-fases binne die raamwerk van die KABV (Kurrikulum
- en Assesseringsbeleidsverklaring);
- Skoolonderrig-ervaring en 'n grondige kennis van minstens twee amptelike Suid-Afrikaanse tale, asook uitstekende mondelinge
- en skriftelike vaardighede daarin;
- Kennis van en onderrig-ervaring binne die konteks van tegnologie-gesteunde onderwys in die kontekste van hoëronderwys;
- Registrasie van, of die intensie om vir 'n PhD te in te skryf met die doel om dit binne ses jaar te voltooi.
