**About Us**:Umoja Hotels is thrilled to announce the opening of our new guest house on the stunning Muizenberg beachfront, where the beauty of the ocean meets exceptional hospitality. We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to be part of our dynamic team and provide a warm, welcoming experience for our guests.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and occupancy.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Uphold security by verifying guest identities and managing key card systems.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing, billing, and reports.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a receptionist or front office role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills and an excellent command of English (additional languages are a plus).
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional demeanour and a passion for hospitality.
- Must stay in the Sothern Suburbs or close to Muizenberg and have own reliable transport.
- Must be willing to work on-site at our beachfront location in Muizenberg
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
