**Function**

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the accurate, timeous recording of all required financial obligations in accordance with Marriott International Hotels Policies and Procedures.

**Required Experience & Qualifications**
- A relevant Financial qualification
- Working experience within a Finance department
- Exposure to generalist finance activities within a hospitality environment
- Professional and diplomatic disposition
- Discrete, trustworthy and able to handle business information with confidence and confidentially.
- Confidence in working independently and part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
- Well versed in the English language, both verbal and written
- Strong administration, effective planning and organizing and project co-ordination skills
- People oriented and results driven
- Flexible and willing to learn new skills and tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance at all times
- Ability to work within a pressurized environment
- Ability to use Initiative and be proactive and self-driven
- Ability to work without supervision and within a team
- Attention to detail pertaining to area of responsibility

**Key Responsibilities**
- Foreign Exchange Banking
- Update tracker for Guest, Deposit, and City ledger on a daily basis.
- Assist and support positions of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Audit, General Cashier when these associates are on leave /not available/off.
- Update House Accounts on a daily basis and very dockets.
- Monthly Float Checks.
- Assist with stock take audits of stock counts and witness capturing thereof.
- Banking Reconciliation.
- Daily Change & float replenishments.
- Petty cash.
- Meal vouchers - Reconciliation.
- Update staff canteen figures (micros).
- Reconcile money's that was collected against the bank statement.
- Paid Out reconciliation & change requests.
- Adhoc month end duties.
- Monthly Cash reconciliation
- Report Cash overs and under’ s weekly to HOD's
- Variances to be investigated immediately.
- Cash check daily on float at the end of the day.
- Familiarize to workplace policies, rules, procedures and standards.
- Perform other duties as per operational requirements
