- An industry leading Bank has an excellent opportunity available as a Portfolio Manager, who will have to manage a portfolio representing a group of initiatives with commonality in objectives or inter-connectedness, to maximize the benefit obtained in accomplishing combined enterprise outcomes not available if managed individually.

**Purpose Statement**
- To manage a portfolio representing a group of initiatives with commonality in objectives or inter-connectedness, to maximize the benefit obtained in accomplishing combined enterprise outcomes not available if managed individually.
- To have overarching responsibility for supporting the organizational leadership in their efforts to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives by effectively managing a portfolio.

**Experience**

**Minimum**:

- At least 10 years of end-to-end project delivery experience within an IT/Financial environment.
- At least 5 years of management experience across a diverse array of major project/programme initiatives.
- At least 2 - 4 years of Project Portfolio Management experience; including forecasting, prioritisation and tracking.
- Proven experience in an array of project management delivery methodologies, in specific Agile.

**Ideal**:

- Substantial consulting leadership experience.
- Experience in planning software (e.g., Atlassian suite).
- Experience in process enhancements.
- Experience in leading end-to-end RFx processes Experience in diverse roles leading to increased leadership responsibilities within the project management environment.

**Qualifications (Minimum)**
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management or Communication.

**Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)**
- A relevant degree in Business Management or Change Management.

**Knowledge**

**Minimum**:

- Working knowledge of relevant tools, techniques, and processes to assist organizations in furthering their strategic objectives.
- Comfortable in liaising with executive-level stakeholders on a frequent basis.
- The ability to guide large and diverse groups to specified goals.
- Can make satisfactory decisions about unforeseen circumstances.
- Can manage conflict swiftly towards a win-win solution.
- Can perform in depth demand planning, resource levelling and team coordination activities to develop an executable portfolio and deliver against financial, resource and other constraints.

**Ideal**:

- A proven proficiency in resource allocation and budget management.
- Basic understanding of the retail and business banking industry.
