**Purpose of the Job**:
To support development and execute indirect sales lubricants marketing strategies (SDCO, EOCs Retail, Coops, Advertising & Packaging) in accordance with the Engen and PLI standards to ensure that Engen & Petronas Lubricant Brands generate growth in volumes, market share and profitability and contribute to product line, PLCM and communication plans.

**What you’ll have done before**:
Baseline:
NQF Level 7 (Degree in Business/ Science/ Marketing)

8 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing/ Strategy Development

Experience in developing/ implementing Marketing strategy

3 years people management experience

Advantageous:
Degree in Strategy Management

5 years in Lubricants/ A&P or FMCG business

**What you'll be doing**:
**MARKETING STRATEGY**
- Develop and execute automotive marketing strategies, by product & segment, through evaluating product portfolio, mix, customer, and external market environment analysis ensuring alignment with market dynamics and global technological advances sourced from PLI

**LUBRICANTS PROMOTIONS & BRANDING**
- Support the Brand & Product team in managing additions & deletions of products using the Engen & PLI PLMC process
- Support Lubes Business achieve business objectives and ensure alignment of campaigns with the business’s annual and long-term vision
- Install Merchandising and Stands for H/S and retail (FSU, product stands & POS) and ensure correct CIs and planograms
- Manage ALL BTL campaigns (including webinars and seminars

**PRICING MANAGEMENT**
- Formulate and drive the product pricing through customers/competitors value propositions, pricing profile
- Manage and monitor price performance & value leakage in collaboration with BPI to ensure alignment with external market and sustainability for the lubricants business

**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT**
- Create CVPs and sales aids and brochures for each vertical
- Introduce innovative differentiators for the indirect sales channel e.g., digital solutions, e-commerce
- Formulate indirect sales channel branding initiatives and evaluate market value propositions and product enhancements to position Engen Lubricants as a market leader
- Develop and manage the execution of communication and A&P plans with the support of PLI Marketing
- Support the Brand & Product team in developing appropriate product line to meet current and future customer requirements
- Drive Business Development and Pipeline Management activities for Direct sales
- Support the Brand & Product team by contributing to PLCM changes to the product line using both the Engen and PLI PLCM systems to ensure optimum product portfolio management
- Co-ordinate product label designs for the automotive product line to ensure conformance to brand guidelines
