Duties/Pligte
- Receiving walk-in clients and handling telephonic reports and enquiries;
- Receiving all reports and recording these onto an electronic database;
- Coordinating the book for checking in and out, receipt of equipment and enquiries by contract security personnel;
- Receiving deliveries as well as lost and found items, and tracking down the owners of lost items;
- Serving as enquiry and reference point for Stellenbosch University (SU);
- Serving as contact and reference point wherever the University community requires support or emergency services;
- Managing and monitoring the charging batteries of two-way radio batteries that are in use;
- Recording "In and Out" booking of and condition of logístical resources;
- Monitoring CCTV cameras that are being used by the University;
- Monitoring of the alarm system that are being used by the University.
- Ontvangs van instapkliënte en die hantering van telefoniese aanmeldings en navrae;

- Bestuur en monitering van die laai van batterye van alle twee-rigting handradios wat in gebruik is;
- Monitering van die WhatsApp toepassing en reageer op versoeke/aanmeldings;
- Rekordhouding van "In
- en Uit-" neem van alle logistieke hulpbronne en toestand van die items;
- Monitering van kringtelevisie wat deur die Universiteit gebruik word;
- Monitering van die alarmstelsel wat deur die Universiteit gebruik word.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12), or equivalent qualification;
- Valid registration with PSIRA;
- Three or more years' proven security and control room experience;
- Grade C to E security training;
- Excellent verbal communication skills;
- Contactable work related references;
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel;
- No criminal record;
- Good health;
- Willingness to work shifts;
- Willingness to provide extra services as required from time to time;
- Own transport to and from work.
- 'n Senior Sertifikaat (Graad 12) of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie;
- Geldige registrasie by PSIRA;
- Drie of meer jaar bewese sekuriteits
- en beheerkamerervaring;
- Graad C tot E sekuriteitsopleiding;
- Uitstekende mondelinge kommunikasievaardighede;
