Accounts Payable Controller

**The core purpose of the role**

Performing the full accounts payable function, by processing all related documents, reconciling to supplier statements and investigating and resolving internal and external queries.

**The key outputs this role contributes to the business**:
**Financial Accounting**
- Creditors Reconciliations
- Resolve all queries related to supplier payments
- Vendor age analysis with valid entries
- Send remittances to suppliers
- Process all one-time vendor payments

**Cash flow**
- Prepare payment runs
- Optimise discount received
- Prepare & submit all documents required for rebate claims and monitor receipt of rebate
- Update cash flow requirements and submit to Meadowdale Finance department for liaising with BW

**Internal Control**
- Prepare list of invoices received for items / services not yet ordered or GRV’d in SAP
- Distribute list to Operations

**Self-Development**
- Develop personal development and training plan
- Agree on development and training plan with departmental manager
- Discuss and agree on performance standards with the departmental manager

**Qualifications**
- Gr 12 with accounting
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting

**Knowledge**
- Internal Controls
- SAP
- VAT
- Procure to Pay process

**Experience**

2 years experience as Accounts Payable role

**Salary**: From R265,000.00 per year
